This aircraft was completed by Jim Doan (previous chapter member of 1298) in 2005

Getting very close to a test flight.
After MUCH EFFORT the cowling for the engine and cooling duct for the radiator are complete. Not to say that they may yet be "redone, and redone,and redone".
I purchased this from Jim’s estate. It is now in a rebuild state where I am adding some major modifications including a new Viking engine of 170 HP with Turbo, GRT auto pilot and glass panel (GRT Avionics). Additional photos will cover the rebuild process and final outcome. The photo you see now is the “before” state.
